Platja d'Alcúdia

This is a very popular beach for families with children on the north coast of the Island and is one of the longest on the Island (10 km), about 3 km from Alcudia.  It is a fine sandy beach which slopes gently into the sea. You will find many restaurants, bars, hotels and shops in the vicinity, as well as sun beds, parasols, pedal boats, parasailing, wind surfing, water slides, shower and toilet facilities.  The beach slopes gradually into the calm waters.  The long beach can be split into two areas, the first one commences at the marina with a 2 km promenade until Ciudad Blanca and this is where you will find most of the main sport and fun activities.  The second area is the unspoilt part from Ciudad Blanca to Playa de Muro where you can take a rest or enjoy some exercise.  There are lifeguard and first aid posts along the bay.
