des Morer Vermell
This beach is situated is a peaceful and quiet location about 2 km north
of the old town of Alcudia, close to the area of Barcares. The beach is 200 metre long and 10 metres
wide, with some fine sand and rocky sea bed. It is good for snorkelling and is safe for swimming in its calm and not
too deep crystal clear waters. It is a
good place to anchor small boats, easily accessible and there is free parking
around the beach. There is a pine grove
at the right hand end, with some buildings around the beach, and is a favourite
with locals. Next to the beach are two small hotels, but they do not impede
upon its charm. The sun beds and parasols are for the hotel guests only.
