S'Illot

This beach is 5 km from Alcudia and divides the bays of Pollensa and Alcudia, with wonderful views over Formentor. It is about 250 metres long and 15 metres wide and consists of little grey pebbles.  It is named after the small islet that protects it from the Tramuntana, a northern wind.  People come to the beach to snorkel, scuba dive and canoe as there is a fanciful seabed and green shady water.  There is car parking, a restaurant with bar, pretty picnic area with tables, chairs and grills which is within walking distance.  Just 2 km away in the Cocodrilo marina you will find schools for snorkelling, scuba diving and sailing.
