Cala d'Egos

This unspoilt and isolated beach is located between na Maragues and Punta de sa Dent, about 10 km from Andratx in a beautiful cove, with a stream flowing into it. The beach consists of pebbles and is about 70 metres long and 25 metres wide, with a rocky shore and seabed, and calm waters. The beach gets winds from the south/south west and west and the underwater conditions make is suitable for anchoring a boat on a seabed of gravel and sand. There is a pine grove and scrubland at one end of the beach and it sits under the Penyal Vermell which is 300 metres high and the el Coll des Vent. There is a 4 km track down to the beach which vehicles are prohibited from using, no areas of shade and has a height of 300 feet, alternatively it is easier to reach by boat.
