Mitjana
This
beach is located 10 km from Arta and is 100 metres long and 50 metres
wide. It consists of fine white sand,
some thistles, with pine trees reaching down to the shore on the left and is
surrounded by some low rocky parts on the right. There is an open-air bar, sunshades and sun
beds available and does not get crowded. Towards the back of the beach are some sand dunes which stretch to the
beginning of the nearby hills. Swimming is considered to be good here in the
calm turquoise water with its sloping sea bed. If driving you can leave your car under the shade of the pine trees and
then walk the last part onto the beach.
