Na Clara
This sandy
and unspoilt beach is located 6 kilometres from Colònia de Sant Pere below some
cliffs. It is 100 metres long and 10
metres wide and is accessible from the free car park near to Calo, from where
you will need to walk along a 200 metre path which goes to the left and
downhill and is unsuitable for disabled people. It is used by tourists but tends to be uncrowded because of its position
and is hidden by thick pine trees and cliffs. There are some huge stones covered with fine sand along this part of the
rugged coastline and is a good place for diving in the crystal clear water,
which is where this beach gets its name as it is translated into clear. There are safe conditions for anchoring a
boat although care needs to be taken when the wind is blowing from the north or
west.
