Sa Font
Celada
This is a
beautifully white sandy beach in the Llevant Natural Park about 12 kilometres
from Arta. It is about 100 metres long
and 150 metres wide and is often visited by the local people who enjoy the
landscape and the sea. There is little
vegetation and can be exposed to the winds from the north west and north east
along this rocky coastline. There are moderate
sea conditions for swimming and it is good for anchoring a boat as the seabed
is sandy and extends a long way out to sea. There are no facilities available on the beach. It can be a little
difficult to get to by car as you need to go through some private farms. Alternatively you could walk along the
coastal path from Matzoc to Cala Cala Estreta, which can take up to two hours,
or follow the coast from S´Arenalet des Verger.
