Cala Banyalbufar

This unspoilt and uncrowded beach is about 100 metres long and 15 metres wide and is situated between sa Pedra de s'Ase and Punta de sa Galera, and about 17 km from Valldemossa and 24 km from the international airport. It is in a small cove, which is surrounded by trees and cliffs, and consists of pebbles, large stones and gravel and the swimming conditions can be described as moderate waves. The sea is transparent and crystal clear which makes it an ideal place for those who enjoy diving and good snorkelling, or alternatively you can lay on the beach and enjoy the great views of the sea and mountains. There is free parking near to the beach but no restaurants, bars, sun beds, parasols, lifeguard, toilets or showers and to access the beach you need to negotiate a steep stairway, making it unsuitable for young children.
