Port de sa Pedra de s'Ase (port of the stone donkey)

This beach is located between Cova des Carbó and s'Escull d'en Romaní, and is about 3 kilometres from the residential area of Banyalbufar.  It is beneath the Verger des Talaia, also known as Tower de ses anime, which means tower of souls.  It is about 10 metres long and 40 metres wide and is surrounded by the cliff called sa Pedra de s'Ase.  It gets its name from the two symmetric bulges, which you can see from the beach, and look like the ears of a donkey.  It consists of artificial sand and is usually uncrowded and it is mostly used by the local people of the area.  There are no facilities on the beach or lifeguard and is easily accessible by walking on a path used by hikers between the tower and the port or there is free car parking nearby.
