Punta de sa Galera / Sa Galera

This is a small and isolated cove between Punta Grossa and ses Escaletes, about one kilometre from Banyalbufar and beneath the Coll de sa Bastida and Puig de ses Planes, in an area of natural beauty.  This stretch of the coastline is characterised by steep cliffs, with lots of reefs and pebbles.  The beach is 50 metres long and 15 metres wide and consists of natural gravel and pebbles, with a steep slope into the water.  It is sheltered from the winds of the area, making it a good place for anchoring boats and it is ideal for swimming, snorkelling and naturist sunbathing. As it is not near to a residential area there are no facilities available to use so ensure you take plenty of water and a picnic with you. There is access for pedestrians and boats but it is not suitable for disabled people.
