Cala Fornells
This
beach is located near Camp der Mer and about one kilometre from Paguera on the
south west coast of the Island of Mallorca. It is a small beach, about 80 metres long and 6 metres wide, consists of
some fine golden sand and is in a sheltered position making it safe for
swimming, sometimes there is a lifeguard on duty. It can get a little crowded at times as there
are hotels nearby, although the sun bathing area has been enlarged by some
terraces being constructed on the large rocks. However, it is set in a
beautiful and peaceful position. The facilities include bars and restaurants
nearby, and the opportunity to hire sun beds, parasols and pedal boats. You will find some small fishing boats
anchored in the cove and just metres away is the unspoilt nudist beach of Calo
des Monjo. It is easy to find by just
following the signs from Peguera.
