Costa d'en Blanes / Platja d'en Blanes
This
beach is located between Puerto Portals and Punta Negra, about 12 kilometres from
Palma on the south west coast of the Island. It is a small beach, about 50 metres long and 15 metres wide, and
consists of natural sand. It is adjacent
to Marineland, an award winning dolphinarium where you will be able to watch
daily shows or visit the various aquariums, as well as the deluxe marina of
Puerto Portals with its yachts and boats, and is surrounded by the Sporting
Tennis Club with its tennis courts and amenities. The conditions for swimming are good and it
is child friendly. On the left side of the beach the sand is coarser and it is
generally quieter. The beach’s
facilities include a restaurant, sun beds, parasols, toilets, first aid and
there is handicapped access near to the marina.
