Platja Palmira / Peguera Palmira / Platja des Pouet
This
beach is between Punta des Carabiners and Caló de ses Llises, about 7
kilometres from Andratx on the island of Mallorca. It is a sandy beach about 500 metres long and
40 metres wide, sloped gently down into the water and is the main beach for the
resort of Peguera. It commences from the
Hotel Mar y Pins all the way round to a wonderful cliff. There is a paved promenade lined with palm
trees where you will find open air bars and the tourist accommodation. The beach’s facilities include lifeguards, first
aid, showers, and the opportunity to hire sun beds, parasols, pedal boats, motor
boats and a supermarket nearby. It is
easily accessible from most of the streets within the resort and there is a bus
stop close by. It is very popular with
tourists, especially during the summer months.
