Platja d'Illetes / Illetes
This
beach is located between Cala Brogit and Cala Comtessa, about 9 kilometres from
Palma on the Island of Mallorca, next to the main road in Illetas. It is about 120 metres long and 25 metres
wide, consists of white sand and the sun bathing area have been enlarged by the
construction of some terraces. It is
bounded by a steep hill with pine trees and there are many restaurants and
beach bars in the area, especially at the north end of the beach where you will
find paths to walk around. The beach’s
facilities include restaurants, bars, lifeguard, toilet and you can hire sun
beds, parasols and pedal boats. It is
easily accessible by public transport as there is a bus stop next to the beach
or you can use your car where you will find a small parking area through a gate
which can be easily missed.
