Platja de Morocco / Platja de Palmanova
This
beach is located between Club Nàutic Porto Novo or Palmanova and Punta des
Marroig ( a steep headland), about 8 kilometres from Calvia, on the south west
coast of the Island of Mallorca and is the middle beach of Palma Nova’s beaches. It is a large beach, about 600 metres long
and 60 metres wide, and consists of fine white sand which slopes gently down
into the calm water. It is in a
residentially developed area with its hotels and apartment blocks, and there is
a wide promenade with terraces. It is
suitable for anchoring boats and the wind tends to be from the east. The beach’s facilities include restaurants,
bars, a supermarket just 100 metres away, shower, toilet and the opportunity to
hire sun beds, parasols and pedal boats. There is a bus stop nearby and you can
park in the nearby streets.
