Platja de Portals Nous / Cala Bendinat
This
beach, also known as Cala Bendinat, is located between Punta de na Dina and Cala
Portals Nous, about 10 kilometres from Palma, on the south west coast of the
island of Mallorca. This small beach,
about 100 metres long and 20 metres wide, consists of fine golden sand, with
crystal clear water and is bordered by a pine grove. The views from the beach
of the port and the small island are wonderful. The children have a good space for playing in the sand but care must be
taken as the water is not particularly shallow. During the summer months the beach is well attended but not over
crowded. In the area of the port you
will find plenty of restaurants and cafes and there is also a beach bar and
cafe behind the beach. There is a
limited number of parking spaces available.
