Platja de Portals Vells III / Platja del Rei
This
beach is located in the Portals Vells area, about 3 kilometres south of Magaluf
on the south east coast of the island of Mallorca. It is unspoilt, about 30 metres long and 15
metres wide, and consists of fine white sand. There are rocks on the right side of the shoreline, otherwise the sea
bed is on a sandy nature and shallow, making it ideal for families with small
children. It is surrounded by cliffs and
pine trees which offer some shade during the hot summer months. By using the hiking paths you can visit the
three other beaches in the area. sloping
gently down to the waters’ edge, and is surrounded by wonderful high cliffs and
pine forests. During the summer season
there is a small beach bar open, but little other facilities exist,and there is
free parking available about 200 metres from the beach on a hill.
