Es Molí de s'Estany
This
beach is located 1.2 kilometres north west of Colonia de Sant Jordi on the south
coast of the Island of Mallorca, between des Tords and Punta de sa Llova and
about 14 kilometres from Campos. It is
set in a lovely sandy area with bushes, pine trees and rosemary and is popular
with the tourists in the summer months. It is about 500 metres long and 25 metres wide, with bright and fine
sand and the clear turquoise water is shallow making it an ideal place for
families with young children, although there is a shortage of space. In the centre of the beach is a cafe/beach
bar/restaurant but no lifeguard, and there is the opportunity to hire wind
surfing equipment, sun beds and parasols. Boats are able to anchor easily although it can be a problem when the
wind is blowing from the west.
