S'Arenal de sa Rapita
This
beach is located about 11 kilometres from Campos on the south coast of the
Island of Mallorca. It is about 1400
metres long and 60 metres wide and consists of fine white sand where the turquoise
blue sea is usually calm. It can be busy with tourists and local people from
around the area during the peak summer months, even though it is isolated and
there are long sweeping dunes and a pine trees at the back of the beach. The beach’s facilities include the
opportunity to hire sun beds and parasols, and it is often cleaned. Club Nautic Sa Rápita is situated at the
western end and it is popular with windsurfers and surfers who benefit from the
steady winds. There is a bus stop near the beach, with about 50 spaces for
parking the car and the beach is easily accessible on foot.
