Cala Gat

The beach is located in a residential area on the edge of Cala Ratjada, within walking distance of its pretty harbour, and is about 2 kilometres from Capdepera on the Island of Mallorca.  It is about 40 metres long and 20 metres wide and consists of golden fine sand, with trees and cliffs on both sides of the beach.  The blue turquoise water is crystal clear and it is ideal for children, although it can be a little cramped at times as it is a popular beach.  The promenade from Son Moll ends here after passing through Cala Rajada.  The beach’s facilities include an open air bar where you can purchase cold drinks and ice creams and the opportunity to hire sun beds and parasols.  There are no water sports available but there is some good snorkelling to be had along both sides of the beach along the cliffs.
