Cala Rotja
This small
cove is located between Cova dels Alberdans and na Terres, about 9 kilometres
from Arta on the north east coast of the Island of Mallorca. The beach is about 30 metres long and 25
metres wide, consists of white sand and gravel, with medium cliffs surrounding
it and the swimming conditions are described as moderate waves and there is an
area for diving. It is excellent for
scuba diving as the water is crystal clear. It does not usually get crowded in the peak season and there are few
facilities on the beach so make sure you take a picnic and plenty of water with
you. It is easily accessible by bus and
there is parking nearby.
