Sa Font de sa Cala
This
beach, whose name means “Spring of the Cove” as there is a spring which flows
into the water on the right hand side of the beach, is located about 3
kilometres south of Cala Ratjada on the
north east coast of the Island of Mallorca in a peaceful and luxurious
residential area. It sits in a lovely
cove which is surrounded by pine trees and some low cliffs and is about 100
metres long and 60 metres wide and is the perfect place for children as there
is plenty of room to play and the water is fairly shallow. The beach’s facilities include a lifeguard,
diving centre, showers, toilets, restaurant/cafe/bar, and the opportunity of
hire sun beds, parasols and pedal boats. It is good for diving, surfing, sailing and water skiing, as well as
parachuting. There is a public parking
space near to the beach.
