Cala Deia

This beach with its rocky cliffs in the background, is located between sa Pedrissa and Punta de Son Beltran, about 10 kilometres from Soller on the west coast of the Island of Mallorca.  It is about 70 metres long and 15 metres wide and this cove consists of pebbles and natural rocks, with rock pools and crystal clear water.  The Torrent Major flows out to sea here and the local fishermen keep their boats here. It is a good place for swimming but you will need to bring a lilo or chair to lie or sit on.  There is a delightful walk to arrive at this cove, it can be reached by car but it is a long way round and parking is limited. You will find two great restaurants where you will be able to taste some of the local fish dishes and you may find it is popular with artists who set up their easels there.
