Es Canyeret / Platja de Llucalcari

This beach, also known as Platja de Llucalcari, is located about 8 kilometres from Soller on the Island of Mallorca.  It is a pretty and tiny cove which consists of gravel, pebbles and rock and the water is clear and turquoise blue. It is a relatively uncrowded beach, many of the people who visit this cove practise nudism, and there is a fountain of fresh water which falls onto clay which some of the visitors use to have mud baths. There is the opportunity to hire sun beds and parasols but there are few other facilities.  There is local transport to this beach, a number of parking spaces are available and access to the beach can be a little difficult.  It may be possible to see the Sa Cova Fosca which is a large cave in a cliff that opens up to the Mediterranean Sea.
