Cala Estellencs
This small cove is located between Cala de Son Pruaga and Punta Rotja, about
21 kilometres from Andratx on the north western coast of the Island of
Mallorca. It is about 80 metres long and
15 metres wide and consists of natural pebbles and has the mountains of Serra
de Tramuntana in the background. It is
actually a small fishing port where the fishermen keep their small boats for
shelter, with a beach where the sea bed is rocky making it a good place for
snorkelling in the crystal clear water. It is mostly visited by the local people from
around the area or those staying at one of the hotels in the village. There is a cafe which serves basic
refreshments and limited parking is available after driving down the mountain from
Estellencs on a narrow and winding road, on which you will some passing places
on this one lane track.
