Platja de s'Arenal

This beach is located about 15 kilometres from Felanitx on the east coast of the Island of Mallorca.  It is the continuation of the Playa de Palma’s long beach, consists of fine white sand and is about 200 metres long and 20 metres wide and is very popular with tourists the peak months in the summer. The beach slopes gently into the water making it an ideal place for young children and the water is calm and safe for swimming, although it can be crowded at the shoreline.  There is a life guard on dury and different types of water sports available, such as pedal boats, paragliding, water skiing, jet skiing, and banana-boat riding, plus the opportunity of hiring sun beds and parasols.. There are a number of bars, cafes and restaurants along the promenade and is popular with German and 18-30 tourists. There is free car parking in the streets behind the beach.
