Es Calonet d'es Fornas
This
beach is located between es Rentador de sa Senyor and Caló de Sant Antoni,
about 13 kilometres from Llucmajor, on the south west coast of the Island of
Mallorca. It is about 40 metres long and
4 metres wide, consists of natural sand and rocks, and is below the village of
Son Veri and a few metres from Son Grauet, where you will see a flat rock, Roca
des Turistes, which is about 3 metres in diameter which you can access by
taking the stairs which have been cut into the rock. From here you will have wonderful views across
the bay of Palma. It is normally calm
for swimming and is often used by the local residents of the area, with some
escars where fishermen keep their boats. There are no facilities so you may need to take a picnic and plenty of
water.
