Es raco de s'Arena

This beach is located about 13 kilometres from Campos and is 120 metres long and 150 metres wide.  It consists of fine natural sand and rocks and a large part of the beach is covered with a dry posidonia meadow.  On the western side there are some small sandy areas which remind people of dunes which were there in the past.  It is in a corner of the coast which is sheltered and is a good place to anchor a boat as the water is five metres deep and the bottom is sandy.  You may find some old Civil War gun emplacements and escars, which are where the local fishermen keep their equipment. There is no village or facilities in the area so you may need to take a picnic and plenty of water, although it is easy to get to by car but there is no parking available.
