Punta de ses Puntes / Pas de ses barques / Punta de ses Punxes

This beach, also known as Pas de ses barques and Punta de ses Punxes, is between  Can Mercadal and Caló de ses Lleonardes, about 15 kilometres from Llucmajor on the south west coast of the Island of Mallorca, and below the village of Cala Blava.  It is about 60 metres long and 10 metres wide and consists of rocks, pebbles and very little sand, and its access is not recommended for small children.  It is most visited by the local people from Cala Blava.  As this part of the coastline is wide open it can be difficult to anchor a boat if there is a wind from the southwest to north.  The scenery is typical of the coastline of the south and southwestern coast with cliffs.  It is generally not busy and there are no facilities available so you will need to take a picnic and plenty of water.
