S'Arenal
This
beach is spread between the municipalities of Llucmajor and Palma on the south
west coast of the Island of Mallorca. It
is located from es Pont des Jueus to the yacht club and is the biggest and most
important beach on Llucmajor’s coast. It
is 4,600 metres long and 50 metres wide and consists of fine sand which slopes
gently down into the crystal clear water. It is ideal for families with young children. It is very popular during
the peak summer months with tourists, especially those from Germany. There is a long promenade with palm trees
which extends to the length of the beach and it is here that you will find the
open bars, restaurants, cafes and shops, as well as the opportunity to hire sun
beds, parasols, pedal boats, volleyball nets, sailboards and water skiing. It is easily accessible by car with free
parking nearby.
