Cala Varques

This beach is located about 12 kilometres from Porto Cristo on the east coast of the Island of Mallorca.  It is a peaceful and unspoilt place with turquoise blue water and white surf from the crashing waves, which are funnelled in from the cove, and the swimming conditions are described as moderate waves.  It consists of natural sand and is about 90 metres long and 60 metres wide.  The best way to reach it is by sea, however if you wish to drive there you need to turn right at the sign for Cala Falco and park by a fence where you will find a path which is about a 15 minute to the beach.  You may find because of its isolation and low occupancy that it is used by nudists.  There are no facilities or services so you must remember to take plenty of water with you.
