S'Estany d'en Mas
This
beach is located by the coastal development of Cala Romantica in Manacor
about 7.5 kilometres from Porto Cristo
on the Island of Mallorca. It is about
100 metres long and 160 metres wide and consists of natural white sand with
calm water making ideal swimming conditions. It is a popular beach and can become crowded during the peak summer
months. The beach’s facilities include
lifeguards, disabled access, and the opportunity to hire sun beds, parasols and
pedal boats. It is easily accessible,
either on foot, bus or by car, with between 50 and 100 parking spaces
available. There is a promenade on the
left hand side of the beach where you can walk along to the neighbouring beach
of Cala Mendia. On the right hand side
there is a three kilometre trail between scrubland which makes for great sightseeing.
Boats can anchor here but it is not sheltered from the winds which might blow
from the south-east or east.
