Platja de Muro -Sector I
This very popular beach is located about 3 kilometres from the centre of Puerto Alcudia, and 15 kilometres from the centre of Muro on the north east of the Island of Mallorca. It is about 1600 metres long and 34 metres wide and is part of the 8.5 km which starts at Can Picafort and finishing at Port d’Alcudia, with the wetlands of Albufera Gran de Mallorca at the rear. It consists of fine white sand which gently slopes in to the water and there is a large area which is completely unspoilt where you will find tables and benches for your picnics between the dunes and a pine tree shaded area. In another part you will find apartments, hotels and houses in a tourist area where you will find bars, restaurants and shops. There is the opportunity to hire sun beds and parasols. It is easily accessible.
