Platja de Muro -Sector II
This popular beach starts at the channel of s’Oberta which is next to Pont dels Anglesos which translates into “Bridge of the English”. It is about 6 kilometres from the centre of Alcudia and 12 kilometres from Muro on the north east coast of the Island of Mallorca. It is part of a 3 kilometre long beach which is divided into two beaches, the first part is in the centre. It is adjacent to the wetlands of the natural park of Natural de s’Albufera and is ideal for children as there is plenty of sand to play on and the water is shallow and clear, although there is a possibility that the waves will be a little larger. It is very popular is the peak summer months and you can enjoy some water sports such as water skiing, jet skiing and paragliding. You will find numerous bars and restaurants along the beach.
