Cala Estancia
This
beach is located between Club Maritim Sant Antoni de la Platja and Calon de Son
Caios in the area of Can Pastilla, 11 kilometres east from Palma, on the Island
of Mallorca. It is a naturally white sandy
beach, about 220 metres long and 37 metres wide. It is a very popular beach which is busy
during the peak summer months with tourists. It is a great place for snorkelling in the calm water of this cove and
there are breakwaters on both sides with a gently slope down into the water. The beach’s facilities include restaurants,
bars, shops with the opportunity to hire sun beds and parasols and next to the
beach area you will find the tourist hotels. There is a bus stop within one hundred metres and it may be difficult to
find any free parking. It is close to s’Arenal,
which is the largest beach on the island, and you will find plenty of small
boats anchored nearby.
