Calo de Son Caios

This small beach is located near to Can Pastilla, about 10 kilometres east from Palma on the south coast of the Island of Mallorca. It is about 70 metres wide and 30 metres wide and consists of natural sand.  It is encompassed by roads and residential buildings and is mostly used by the local residents of the area.  It can be a little difficult to swim in the crystal clear water and there are rocks which are covered in algae, this also makes it difficult to anchor a boat, although some of the locals will leave their up-turned boats on the small sandy area.  It can also be a little noisy from the planes landing at Palma’s international airport. There are no facilities on the beach so make sure you take a picnic and plenty of water.  There is limited parking and no access by bus.
