Pollensa’s beaches
Pollensa’s beaches are on the north coast of the Island of Mallorca and are divided into two, those in Pollensa Bay, and those directly on the Meditteranean Sea. They are well known for their beauty, with some quite isolated and there are a variety of beaches, some consist of rocks whilst others have white sand, some are easier to get to than others. The beaches at Albercutx and Pollensa have plenty of fun activities for visitors and Formentor is a popular beach in the area. There are nudist beaches and coves at Cala Castell, also known as Cala Figuera, and Engossauba or Cala Murta. Puerto Pollensa’s is separated by its beaches and it runs all the way along the resort’s sea front in a horse-shaped bay with the mountain range of Tramuntana making a magnificent backdrop to the blue Mediterranean Sea. It is easy to see why it is a popular area with couples and families who visit often.
