Cala Clara
This small
cove is located about 7 kilometres from Pollensa and is one of the four beaches
which are known as Cala Sant Vicenc and is situated on the north coast of the
Island of Mallorca. It consists of
fine-grained white sand and is about 50 metres long and 30 metres wide and has
some large touristic buildings on each side of the beach, which makes it
popular with the tourists. It is easily
accessible by car and there is free parking about 100 metres from the beach,
alternatively there is a bus stop used by the local buses near to the
beach. It is not suitable for anchoring
boats because of the underwater conditions and the conditions are described as
moderate waves. There are footpaths which connect Cala Clara with Cala Malins
and Cala Barques (about 100 metres away), making it easy to walk to one of the
other beaches.
