Cala
Estremer
This
beach is located about 13 kilometres from Pollensa on the north coast of the
Island of Mallorca. It consists of
gravel, pebbles and stones and is about 200 metres long and 15 metres wide. The
steep and high cliffs of Punta de l’Aguila surround the beach which is a deep
u-shaped inlet and where you will find several different torrents flowing into
the sea. It is not suitable for
anchoring boats because of the stony ground and a strong wind which can blow
from the north and north east. It is an
isolated and uncrowed beach where you will need to drive to the village of Cala
Sant Vicenc and park the car. From
there there is a steep path which winds its way down a torrent and can be a
difficult and dangerous walk. There are
no facilities on the beach so you must ensure that you take plenty of water
with you.
