Cala en Gossalba

This beach is located between Morro del Pont where you will find excellent views and Cala Murta, about 19 kilometres from Puerto Pollensa on the north coast of the Island of Mallorca.  It is about 37 metres long and 15 metres wide and consists of shingle and natural pebbles in a u-shaped inlet.  It is surrounded by high mountains and to the rear of the beach you will find a thick pine wood and the seabed is rocky.  To gain access to the beach you will need to park the car in a free parking area in Cala Murta and walk about 2.5 kilometres along the cliffs on a trail which can be quite steep.  It is not usually crowded and is mostly used by the local people of the area. It is an ideal spot for anchoring a boat and is popular with divers of all types.
