Can Cullerassa

This beach is located about 1.5 kilometres from Puerto Pollensa on the north coast of the Island of Mallorca.  It is about 2545 metres long and 10 metres wide and consists of fine sand and pebbles.  This is an unsheltered part of the coastline as there can be a strong wind blowing from the east and there can be seaweed owing to the sea conditions.  Just a few metres from the shore line are some large pine trees and this straight coastline ends at a man-made breakwater that splits it from Platja de Llenaire.  It is not an ideal place for anchoring boats but it is popular with wind surfers.  The beach is not generally crowded and is mostly used by local people from around the area and some fishermen at night time.  It is easily accessible by public transport or by car where you can find a free parking area.
