Platja del Port de Pollenca / Platja de Llenaire
This
beach is located between Port de Pollenca andn Platja de Can Cullerassa and
about 6 kilometres from Pollensa on the north coast of the Island of
Mallorca. It is about 1440 metres long
and 40 metres wide and consists of fine white sand, which has been imported, and
it slopes gently down into the
water. There are some wonderful views
from the beach which is surrounded by mountains. It is a popular place with tourists and is
easily accessible either by using local transport or by car with a free parking
area, and there is wheelchair access onto the beach. The facilities include toilets, shower,
restaurants and a supermarket across the street. There is also the opportunity to hire sun
beds and parasols. During the peak
summer months you will find plenty of small sailing boats anchoring in this
bay.
