Son Baulo

This beach is in a small resort which is 9 kilometres from Santa Margalida on the north east coast of the Island of Mallorca. There is a promenade where you are able to walk to the marina at Can Picafort.  It is about 160 metres long and 80 metres wide and consists of natural sand, with a mild to medium slope into the sea, and can be crowded during the peak summer months.  It is a pretty resort where you will find mostly English and German tourists and there are some large hotels, and several restaurants and shops next to the beach.  There is a lifeguard, toilets and showers, as well as the opportunity to hire sun beds and parasols.  It is accessible on foot and there are some parking places near to the Torrent de son Baulo.  About a twenty minute walk from the beach you will find the tourist attractions of Son Real Necropolis, a prehistoric burial ground.
