Cala Llombards
This
beach is located about7 kilometres from Santanyi on the south east coast of the
Island of Mallorca. It is about 55
metres long and 150 metres wide and consists of natural, white fine sand. The beach has two rocky outcrops on its sides
which are covered with pine trees, the water is crystal clear which makes it
perfect for those who want to go snorkelling. The beach slopes gently down into the clear blue sea making it suitable
for children and by the shore you will find some traditional Mallorcan
buildings called “escars” where the local fishermen keep their boats and
tackle. On the beach there is a beach
bar and just a few minutes walk away you will find some restaurants in the
quite village of Es Llombards. There is
a parking area close to the beach and if you stroll towards Cala Santanyi you
will pass the spectacular bridge shaped rock formation Es Pontas.
