Cala Santanyí
This
beach is about 6 kilometres from Santanyi on the south east coast of the Island
of Mallorca. It is about 70 metres long
and 100 metres wide and consists of natural fine sand, and this little inlet is
sheltered by the surrounding cliffs and pine trees. It is perfect for swimming, with calm waters
which slope gently down into the se,a and has plenty of space for children to
play. It can be crowded during the peak
summer months as there have been some tourist apartments and hotels built
adjacent to the beach. The facilities
include showers, restaurants, bars, shops, a diving club and the opportunity to
hire sun beds, parasols and pedal boats. Along the cliffs you will find conditions which are conducive to good
diving with plenty of pretty fish in the clear turquoise sea. You will find ample parking for cars close to
the beach.
