Cala de sa Font de n'Alis / Cala Mondrago
This beach is located about 5.6 kilometres from s'Alqueria Blanca on the south east coast of the Island of Mallorca. It is about 75 metres long and 60 metres wide and consists of natural, fine grained sand. There is a gentle slope down into the water, making it an ideal place for children to play and paddle. At the back of the beach you will find a wet land where birds, eels and water snakes live. It is in the Cala Mondrago area which is very popular with tourists, therefore the beach can be crowded during the popular summer months. There a few facilities which include a lifeguard, kiosk and the opportunity to hire a sun bed and parasol. There is free car parking next to the beach and a tourist train that goes to Cala d’Or. Also there is a trail on which you can walk to s’Amarador or Calo des Burgit.
