Calo des Marmols

This remote beach, known as the marble bay, is 14 kilometres from ses Salines on the south east coast of the Island of Mallorca.  It is about 40 metres long and 35 metres wide and consists of natural white sand with some gravel, and is surrounded by high cliffs and some sparse vegetation.  It is a remote beach with crystal clear water which makes it ideal for snorkelling. Although the beach is child friendly you will need to walk for about 5.5 kilometres along a long path, which is not suitable for children, from the lighthouse at Cap de ses Salines to reach it, and it is mostly used by the local people from around the area.  Other visitors might arrive by boat and anchor their boats there.  There are no facilities on the beach so you must ensure you take plenty of water and some food.
