Calo de sa Barca Trencada
This
beach is about 4 kilometres from s'Alqueria Blanca on the south east coast of
the Island of Mallorca. It is about 35
metres long and 25 metres wide and consists of natural fine sand and is
surrounded by hotels with some dunes, pine wood, oaks and scrubland. To the left part there is a rocky area, and
to the right you will find the sandy area with pine trees which provides some
shade during the hot summer days. It is
popular during the peak summer months with tourists from the nearby hotels and the
facilities include a restaurant and the opportunity to hire sun beds, parasols
and some water sports equipment. It is
easy to reach by car from either Portopetro or a’Alqueria Blanca but you will
need to keep a eye out for the signs. There is free parking adjacent to the beach.
