Calo de ses Egos / Calo de ses Egues

This beach, also known as Calo de ses Egues, is 2 kilometres from Cala d'Or on the south east coast of the Island of Mallorca. It is about 20 metres long and 30 metres wide, consists of natural sand, and is surrounded by hotels which have been erected nearby and can become crowded with the guests that stay there and the local people from around the area.  It is a narrow sea inlet and the medium height cliffs that surround it are used as diving platforms and places for sun bathing.  There are some steps down into the sea and it is possible to anchor a boat there, although you need to be careful when the wind is blowing from the south or south east.  There is free car parking adjacent to the beach and you will find toilets, showers and a restaurant.
