S'Amarador
This unspoilt
and beautiful beach is 6 kilometres from s'Alqueria Blanca on the south east
coast of the Island of Mallorca. It is one
of two beaches in the Natural Park of Mondrago area and is about 145 metres
long and 50 metres wide. The fine
natural white sand is surrounded by pine trees and dunes which are covered with
vegetation. Towards the right hand end
of the beach you will find a traditional building where the local fishermen
keep their boats and tackle. You can
reach this beach by walking about 400 metres along the coastline from Cala
Mondrago beach or there is a large parking area about five minutes walk away at
the end of a road. It is an ideal beach
for children with the sand and large area to play in, with a gentle slope down
into the water. There is a beach bar but
no water sports.
